Male – 2 yrs – 17kg – A Tender Soul Ready to Find His Forever Home

This sweet, lean boy has been through more than any dog should. Milo survived an overcrowded shelter where every day was a struggle—just finding space to lie down or eat in peace was a battle. He also wasn’t eating enough, as stress makes him lose his appetite.  But he’s a fighter, and he made it out. Now safe and slowly decompressing in a calmer rescue, he’s starting to rediscover what love really feels like.

Once he’s had a gentle introduction, Milo is all heart. He’s a cuddle bug through and through, craving affection and connection. He can be a little unsure with new people at first, but give him a moment and he’ll melt into you like he’s known you forever.

He enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to play—sometimes a bit rough, but always with a friendly spirit. Because of his sensitive nature and need for calm, he’d do best in a home without young children. What he really needs is a peaceful space where he can continue to heal and be showered with the love he’s finally realized he deserves.

In the rescue center, he struggles. He’s tasted affection, safety, and gentleness—and now, he wants more. But with limited hands and too many other dogs to care for, he can’t always get the one-on-one attention he so deeply craves.

Milo is ready for a new chapter. He’s ready for his person. Someone patient, kind, and committed to giving him the safety and love he fought so hard to find. He is a young and active dog who loves exploring and would be the perfect hiking companion.

Could that someone be you?

Note: Milo has put on weight since his rescue photos were taken.  His healthy weight is around 17-18 kilos, he has a naturally lean physique and is probably a whippet cross.
