25. A lot of our dogs have fear aggression when they come this includes leash lunging and growling. It can sometimes take these dogs 3 months to a year to fully adjust to their new surroundings, are you willing to put in the time and effort to work through this? *

27. Once your application is received by Taco Dog Rescue Society a short interview/home inspection will be set up. *

28. Once you have completed the application for Taco Dog Rescue Society, a team member will arrange an interview followed by either a video call or an home inspection. At times, an additional team member may be required to conduct a follow-up call or interview to address any outstanding questions. If you are approved, a $400 deposit is required to hold the dog. Upon accepting and receiving the dog, a final payment of $400 will be due, bringing the total adoption fee to $800. Additionally, a microchip will be provided for $30, which you must take to your veterinarian for insertion. As outlined in the adoption contract, you are required to take the dog to a veterinarian within 30 days of adoption, during which the microchip must be inserted. Details regarding this requirement are included in the contract, which will only be sent to approved adopters for signing. If you choose to decline the adoption, your deposit will be refunded via e-transfer. By signing below, you agree to fulfill the responsibilities of a dog owner and adhere to all terms and conditions in the adoption contract.
