I was found pregnant on the street, and so I was taken to be sterilized. There they found out I had two other diseases which would be very expensive to treat and no one had any space for me to hang out and recover and the street was no place for me to get well. It was decided I was going to be euthanized 😞 which is where my
story would have ended.

That lucky day a rescuer happened to be in the clinic and fell in love with my smiley face and I looked into her eyes and asked her if please, could I be allowed to live?

And so even though there was really no more room at the rescue, and my meds to end my life were already drawn, I got a precious chance at a different ending. I went through some pretty painful treatments and I put up with them so patiently and so gently. But I wasn’t allowed to move around much and so may have gained a few pounds, they’ve now put me on something called a diet? It’s the last in a long line of insults but hey it still beats dying.

I am the best girl, I love everyone and everything, I am tolerant and patient other than I don’t like to share my food but if you were on a diet you wouldn’t either haha.

A family would be perfect for me, I’m sweetly playful and love cuddles. And they say at 22kg I am not a lap-dog but I do disagree with that.

I am finally ready for my happy ending. Please, will you be part of my story?

Love, Gaia ❤️
