Gaia is still in MX. She is 22 kgs.
Gaia is available for adoption again, through no fault of her own. She waited so patiently to go to her forever home with her adopted bestie however, living situations changed and Gaia is once again, looking for her humans.
Gaia’s story-
I was found pregnant on the street, and so I was taken to be sterilized. There they found out I had two other diseases which would be very expensive to treat and no one had any space for me to hang out and recover and the street was no place for me to get well. It was decided I was going to be euthanized which is where my story would have ended. That lucky day a rescuer happened to be in the clinic and fell in love with my smiley face and I looked into her eyes and asked her if please, could I be allowed to live?
And so even though there was really no more room at the rescue, and my meds to end my life were already drawn, I got a precious chance at a different ending. I went through some pretty painful treatments and I put up with them so patiently and so gently. And then I got better, and even had plans to move to europe! But sadly, sometimes things dont work out how we planned… I’ve been here in this rescue centre for 3 years now, and I’m ready to find my forever person.
I am the best girl, I love everyone and everything, I am tolerant and patient other than I don’t like to share my food but if you were on a diet you wouldn’t either… A family would be perfect for me, I’m playful and love cuddles. And they say at 22kg I am not a lap-dog but I do disagree with that. I love chilling in front of a movie, meeting new people and going exploring, but if you can’t take me thats ok I’m good at home on my own. I walk great on a leash, love car rides and I appreciate every new day with this second chance I got.
