Maggie, like a magpie, picked up some shiny little puppies that were abandoned in the same area she was and took them on as her own. At only 8 months old she has been through a lot, although we know she had been dumped at the end of a road, her friends had been poisoned and there was only one lady who tried to help her by giving her food. Then Maggie ended up having the best turn of events, she was transported by a rescue centre made up of “chicken-hearted” young women and they couldn’t release her again. She was just too darn cute to put back onto the streets. So now here she is, learning how to be a young dog again, learning she is safe and learning to trust humans who once abandoned her, for now shes found some good ones but is looking for her forever humans.
Maggie is playful but also settles well in a house, she is loyal and cuddly and we know she will make the best companion for anyone who gives her the chance. Also like a magpie, (one for sorrow, two for joy) her first life was awful, but now she has found happiness in her second. She is good with kids and will be cat tested.
