Hello. My name is Maya, and I am looking for a furever home. My foster mom says I
am a “sweety,” because of how gentle and easygoing I am. I am around 3.5 years
old and weigh 17 kilos – but I am underweight right now and should weigh around
19-20 kilos. I am spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm preventative.
I am very smart and well-behaved. I do need another calm confident dog in my life, I would be a great 2nd pup! I am also housebroken and good with children of all
ages, cats, and nonaggressive dogs (aggressive dogs scare me). I like to play with
toys and other friendly dogs. I would love a home where someone gives me treats,
scratches my ears, and gives me belly rubs. I like to go for walks using my harness,
although I can be a little shy in new places. I am a very quiet dog and only bark
when someone comes to the door. I would enjoy going to a dog park or on doggie
play dates. I do not chew or cause any problems.
My foster mom rescued me from a neglectful home. The people did not feed me,
and when I got sick, they left me to die. Thankfully, I was taken to the hospital
and am all better now. In some of my pictures, I am missing hair on my ears and
nose from a skin infection. But that is all better now too, and my hair is growing
back. Everyone who meets me says how pretty I am. I would make an excellent
family dog as I LOVE children, or I would also be great in a home with one or two
people looking for a dog to take for walks and spoil. My foster mom says I deserve
a happy life because I am a good girl. I hope you will consider adopting me!!
